I honestly have no idea. I just hope I'm pleasantly surprised, and I'm pretty sure I will be considering the track record.
I think more site revamps like nesting/gathering would be a good option! I would also appreciate more lair banners/art, and more lore in general. Ancients past Auraboas still don't have their stories, and there's Beastclans on top of that. With Beastclan additions there might also be more familiars like with the harpies too.
Big dreams might include a new Fairgrounds game or a new breed entirely. Which I really doubt, but a fish can wish.

So I’m old and boring and would rather have quality of life improvements: search feature for CR and messages etc. messages update in general, assay bloodlines check more than one dragon, nesting ground revamp. Better mobile site. And like, new lair banners to top it off.
It won’t be any of that sadly. Hopeful we’ll get announcement that we might get some sort of quality of life updates happening again. Since they pretty hard stopped for the refactor in preparation of achievements… something like 4 years ago. Besides the screen reader accessibility. Which is a good thing! Just… want some quality of life things again.

If we're talking unrealistic dreams: rerelease imp scrolls and other retired items. Call it the healthier petsite economy anniversary
Real answer is that I have no clue, but I'm sure it'll be fun. Even if it's something smaller-scale like when they did lair banners, I think every anniversary has been fun. Even eye types- it might have been a messy update in the long run, but it was still so cool to see the new eyes.

- Foresee Progeny with morphologies
- More detailed Assay Bloodlines / generate a family tree for each dragon or pair

Given the current situation with updates (there are barely any now, FR seems quiet), it seems to me that the developers are preparing an ultimate for the anniversary, either they will release a tiny update. These are my assumptions, if anything.

I'm really hoping for new fairgrounds games and for the 'coming soon' section of the coli being finally added. As much as I want adventure mode, I have low expectations of getting it soon, since it seems really big and we got some relatively recent big updates, like effects. New NPCs would also be great. Maybe a mass familiar update?
