Did this with only my permanent lair and if they were a project dragon I used their scry for genes so I didn't end up with a all basic dragon. This is... so very underwhelming.
A majority of my lair is made up of G1s of multiple aesthetics so there ended up being very little overlap. I do enjoy white/obsidian, but only when used in contrast with brighter colors.
