I need like.... hundreds of apparel. Gonna make all my draggos look like they went to the thrift store for their threads.

What are your favorite ways to get cheap duds? I'm opening chests, buying what I can, but this... this is gonna take a while hehe.

Honestly I think I get most of my cheap apparel from chests. You can brew some pieces at Baldwin's, and notn was pretty great for getting a large amount of apparel, if of a very specific aesthetic. Though it's over now, so I guess that's not very helpful advice.

For buying, definitely check marketplace vs AH. Sometimes, it's cheaper on the marketplace! Sometimes not :P

always check the AH. there is almost always apparel for under 10kt on there, you can grab a ton of stuff by just clearing out the cheap listings, since it's mostly baldwin fodder apparel. unfortunately i cannot say any more because i have expensive tastes otherwise lol
but yes, i would recommend opening rusted chests- sell iron and gilded chests, those are worth th money more (you'll be able to buy more stuff from the profits)

Something that wasn't mentioned yet, but is tedious at times. Grinding the low levels of coli can drop you a number of common apparel. It's not the most reliable method though

bundles from the marketplace have a great very many items for the price, but even moreso if there is a flash sale or your flight has dominance! save those monies from opening familiar chests and happy shopping.

2G apparel in the AH. (easier when it's not RIGHT after NotN and the NotN apparel has taken over)

I have massive amounts of apparel though, and am constantly trying to sell it instead *laugh* It's a shame I can't link my sales, I have tons of stuff up for LAH and a lot of it is less than 3kt.

step 1: get a bunch of dragons
step 2: put familiars on them
step 3: bond
step 4: reap massive amounts of chests

There's also apparel pieces in the coliseum that drop in every venue!

bond with your familiars! you'll get lotssss of chests from them and those have a chance to give you apparel. the rusted iron chests are most likely to only give you trinkets, but once you get to the iron/gilded chest levels you'll be rolling in clothes ^__^

[/quote] Same! I'm very choosy with apparel on my dragons, I prefer to show off their genes. Personally I'm selling off my apparel for bare minimum grab bags in the forums.
