They were at 0% energy before. (mainly because I was and still am slowly losing interest in FR)

Yep, the devs do that during longer maintenance periods so that nobody loses their well-fed bonus for reasons that were out of their control (because they literally could not log in and feed their dragons at the time). [emoji=ridgeback happy size=1]

I think most of the hunger ticks didn't even happen since the server was completely offline. My energy was at 98% when the site came back online and I hadn't fed my dragons since the previous rollover.
Very nice for the devs to feed our dragons due to the length, though! I always appreciate that.
