I waited to hatch my Fathom adults until today and Deriick really did a great job. The colors could absolutely be so much worse, and I'm looking forward to scrying these nerds:

I waited to hatch my Fathom adults until today and Deriick really did a great job. The colors could absolutely be so much worse, and I'm looking forward to scrying these nerds:
Derek is awesome
Theoretical lore wise he could be out in space and avoiding the voidy shade monsters from pure luck since he would be some form of luck dragon.
Also if he was a clan, I could totally see it being the one clan with heterochromatic eyes. It could also use the mythos of Luck Dragons for its own unique breed
(Idk if this has been mentioned yet, I just found this thread and haven’t read it all yet)

8D I love the idea of RNG/Luck being the "lost Flight" of a sort. Maybe he was created using traits from every flight, so he has to also stay on the run from all the other dieties? xD
Everyone sees Derek as too chaotic to allow him to settle in their realm, so the location and look always has to shift around. He has to blend in, but it just changes randomly and he may spend a month in one spot, then it changes 3 times in one day?
He shouldn't have a formal flight or clan, it's always hodge-podge and changing. Usually random dragons wake up from a very strange dream. Or maybe they get re-routed by a glitch from exaltation, or something like a time-warp?
I kinda love the idea that he's just blasting off across the world, shaking things up. And disasters/special events or good things can be triggered by Derek showing up somewhere. He may be the reason for a giant earthquake, or a sudden vein of gold appearing out of nowhere when he's in the Earth realm, and so forth xDD
