@Briton

I buy bred dragons all the time. The only thing that stops me is price.

@Susinko Really. I didn't know people bought pre-bred dragons. Most of the time, I only level a dragon to about 10, bred a few times then exalt - no excessive leveling, gene changes or eliminate.

Although this one has a certain sentimental value as he's the only dragon left from my original flight and was from the first nest I hatched, so may end up being like my bogsneak Cici that doesn't fit in with the lair thus has her own tab as she doesn't hang out with anyone else.

@Briton Yeah! My beloved dragon, Lor'themar was one such dragon. When I bought him, he had been bred many times, and even has some ugly, ugly unnamed offspring. But I love him and he is one of my permas. Lor'themar Scydin is another example. When I got him, he'd already had an impressive list of children. It didn't bother me a bit. He is a much beloved fandragon of one of my most favorite characters. Scydin Kaedassian is yet another. He also had some ...unique offspring before I got him. But I love him and I really don't care. I didn't do a total restart or purge, I just took a clan I wasn't satisfied with and purged about half of it. Got rid of some dragons, put others in the HD, and pushed my lore into the next era with lesser dragons.

@Susinko That's good to know. I once exalted a couple of level 25s, although one of them had colors like coral, goldenrod and not sure what else with no genes... wasn't exactly pretty.

I've been having this internal struggle about whether I can truly be content with having several dragons with parents or strictly gen ones. Right now, its difficult to have both or either because, well, I am broke :'D Kind of sours the opportunity to even consider "starting over" because I can't control my impulse spending urges. Rip.

Yep! I am just barely finishing up selling off all my old dragons that I had slated off for the purge.

I realized I was unhappy with most of my dragons so lair purge it was. Now I'm a lot more satisfied with my lair, it feels more organized and fits my aesthetic more. Sometimes a good old lair cleaning helps soothe the nerves every now and then.
