I pronounce Tundra as "tuhn-dra" because it's an actual word. A tundra is frozen arctic region without trees, which is why the dragon is named that!

So I googled this and the word tundra is actually a spelling of the
Russian word. Which they pronounce "toondra".
Tundra is the word spelled out in different lettering and can be pronounced multiple ways based on where you're from. Just want to clear this up as a fellow English speaker myself who was a bit confused. There is technically two different pronunciations. People know it's a word.
As for myself I call them "tuhndra" but now have a headcanon that tundra native to the Southern Icefield call themselves "toondra".
