TOPIC | Tips for Coliseum? Newbie
Hi everyone, I joined a few hours ago after watching my friends play for the past few months and I'm not really sure what I'm doing. Trying to level up my dragons fighting in the coliseum is really slow, does anyone have any tips or tricks>

@ZtheNB ahh welcome to FR! :~D For leveling + statting your dragons, I recommend Duke's Coli Guide! It helped me a lot with building my own teams and while the build requires some expensive battlestones, they pay for themselves after a while if you're able to get your hands on them.

I also highly recommend Duke's Coli Guide linked above, as that's what I used to build my coli team.

Some flights will loan out level 25 dragons so you can train your team a bit easier, but it wasn't that bad to train my team up myself from scratch, earning money for the battlestones along the way.

@MollyMerula @Lagara oh wow, this is such a well done guide! Thank you so much

@ZtheNB I'm going to take a different tack and recommend The Sedona Build, which is a lot less expensive for someone just starting out. (Not that Culex's guide isn't great— it is! But Eliminate is very, very expensive to the point of being completely disheartening when you're new, and The Sedona Build offers something that's much more affordable and allows you to get a team off the ground faster.)

And a point of note, if you're having trouble moving to the next area of the Coliseum, you can stay in the previous area up until you stop gaining EXP from it, which can make things a little easier. The Scorched Forest, for example, is a massive difficulty spike that is rough even when you've trained multiple teams of three.

Good luck! :D

Start with the Sedona built - it doesn’t finish fights as fast, but it’s much cheaper.

okay so idk if ur like me and can get overwhelmed and discouraged with guides like that but

for some casual, easy stuff:

3 dragons with scratch, invest more points into strength but do invest a little in agility, quickness and vitality
defense and mind arent too important, and intelligence you wont need AT all for a physical fighter

when they are able to, use might fragments to power em up, then when you get some, berserker stones.

also the (element) slash moves are REALLY good!!

the bolt stones arent useful for physical fighters

really just experiment and have fun!!
