I miss this kid, ended up exalting him and regretting it in less than a second

The first dragon I ever bought outside my progens was this guy.

I still kind of miss him.

At least Eleazar survived in lore, although he was sent back to his own time (the future) before he could warn my clan about how the ceiling was about to cave in above him :v

Nalani though? So much pain. I'm just a sucker for Fae, and even though I hadn't had them for long, I just really missed them... So of course I buy a similar-ish looking dragon and make up some lore about shade imposters. Of course I did.
Both of them were part of my biggest lair cleanout ever, and I guess I at least got some cool lore and the mental image of epic emperor battles out of it? Still, I kinda really miss these sometimes.

Oh goodness, I have definitely regretted selling some dragons!
When I first joined the game, a friend of mine gifted me a beautiful Imperial hatchling from one of their pairs, and said I could sell her whenever I got tired of her. After a few months of having that Imperial as a perma in my lair, I eventually sold her, not giving it a second thought. My aesthetic at the time was all teal dragons - and this was an Antique/Antique/Tarnish dragon, which didn't really fit in. So as I scrambled to get my lair together aesthetic-wise, I sold her.
That... was about eight months ago, I would guess? Within that time, my lady was matched up with a handsome lad, and they made a successful breeding pair in another lair. Just last week, I checked up on her one more time, and discovered she had been sold by the person and was in a different lair. And when I saw her, I sighed; she fit my current lair aesthetic perfectly. I love Antique and have plenty of it. Because she still had no familiar/bio in this other user's lair, I shot them a message asking if they'd be willing to sell her to me.
I got lucky! My lovely Cordelia is home now. <3 She has tons of sentimental value and I feel so incredibly blessed that this wonderful user agreed to sell her back to me.

I exalted 2 of the 5 first dragons I bought and I miss them. I'm overly sentimental I know.

At the time I did it to save money on scatterscrolls, today I've probably spent well over 50k gems on scatters and it doesn't matter at all.

My progen's firstborn son, Laybem. I had the forethought to name him before exalting, but I'm a bit sad that I did.

Not the best colors, but I can imagine what I would've done with him if I still had him. The only one from my first nest left is my Pearlcatcher Vinmiat (I love her so much since I changed her into a pearly from a fae)
He'd probably eventually look like this if I'd kept him:

I hatched her from a plague egg I found only about a week after I joined, gave her a stupid name and bred her so she could have stupid babies, later sold her for a measly 100kt. A year later I'm sad because I didn't realize that A: she was my first gen 1, B: my first gen 1 was an xxy
so I found her in a dead lair, messaged the owner anyways just in case, and about a year after that they finally came back and sold her back to me :')

Much regret. Sadly I won't be able to find back the gen one female Tundra I hatched from my first unhatched egg, because I exalted her right of the back. However I also feel dump about exalting the first dragon I ever bought. She was nothing special like all the dragons I bought at the time, she had two basic genes after all, but still maybe I could have changed her into something beautiful later on.

Also there is my first ever nest, three hatchlings of which one got a breed change and a gene before I grew tired of him. I wished I kept all three of them.

I super regret selling the first kid of my progens, she was pretty too
She ended in a exalting lair, I remember it said on their page they would let you purchase back the kid if you wanted but the tought never crossed my mind (also because I'm shy)
Now I regret it

BLACK LIVES MATTER
There are a number of dragons I kind of miss due to lair purging, I've kept a record of them on
Phos so I can think back on them without actually using up my space.
The one I super regret was Trinket though, she was my Dom Badge holder and I forgot to copy her bio with all my stuff before exalting her. Fffff. Back to square one.
