TOPIC | New Gene filigree in Scrying workshop?
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it yet (especially with some of the more non-traditional filigree colors), but it's definitely interesting! Seems more like an accent or apparel, but I can see it working for some dragons.
In fact... hold on, I've got to test it.

Oh my gosh, they've done it. They've managed to create a tertiary gene that actually makes Honeydew match the rest of his colors. That's it. I'm officially intrigued.
Edit: Scratch that. After testing it out more in the scrying workshop, it... really doesn't work well with a lot of the genes we already have. It just sites on top of anything that has remotely any texture or pattern, such as Wasp or Petals, giving it the appearance of just a piece of apparel slapped on top. Maybe with Metallic or Iridescent it might work? I don't know... I'll give it some time and maybe it'll grow on me

i dig. i agree it doesn't really look like a gene so much as apparel but i'm not complaining lol. if it was apparel we'd only have it in a handful of colors instead of almost 200. :^)
