Flight Rising Discussion

So I've been playing FR for a while because my sister got me into it. I don't really know much of what I'm doing because all I have done really is breed dragons, lol. I'm interested in getting a bit more involved in the game and wanted to change my Flight to Shadow, though I'm not sure what it's like. Can anyone tell me about it, how the people act on the Shadow forums? Thank you!

Its basically a big crazy family. Most of them lurking.

That is once you found them.. Its pretty dark over here. Your eyes will time to adjust. So if you visit whatch where you step - if its soft it might be a bogsneak.

The Forums move reasonably fast, so if you like to chatter/ forum games/ fun stuff you might like Shadow ^^ The community is warm and welcoming.

Our weak point is Dominance, it's always a huge effort given the size of the Flight and that not everyone is interested in it. So if you think Dom is really important to you, it might be worth researching other Flights.
That being said, it's not like we don't push at all! I personally always had a great time participating in Shadow Dominance and met lots of great people, regardless of our ranking.

I'm mostly staying in the Dom corner, so cannot help much with the general forums - they seem to move reasonably fast? Not FR Discussion fast, but also no last-post-a-week-ago threads in the first page of general Shadow forums. There are various forum games and similar threads and you'll find someone to join you if you make a new thread.

A lot of Shadows seem to be on Discord and quite silent on the forums - we have a general Shadow server and Dom-only server. Dom-wise, while we might not be breaking the Dom leaderboard each week, we are active and have both in-flight events and take part in other flights' events :D

Perhaps you have some specific questions? We'll welcome you if you decide to join us and if you decide against joining, I hope we'll see you in our events as an out-of-flight visitor from your chosen flight :)

Thank you all for the feedback! I think I'm going to go ahead and join Shadow, then, after my nests hatch. The discord server sounds like it would be fun too! :D Hopefully you'll bear with me as I don't really know too much what I'm doing here, lol. Thanks guys!
