@QuetzalQueen I use the conversion rate the decide. Right now it seems to be 1:800, and the LAH gem price is 739 (I wouldn't undercut by more than 3 gems). Multiply by 800 and get 591kt. The LAH treasure price is 690kt (I wouldn't undercut by more than 3k). So if you can get it to sell, most likely the treasure route is the best way to go right this exact point in time.

@QuetzalQueen

I've been low-price-checking the sprites every day or so for a while now, here's what I've got for the Nature one (copy-pasting from my excel sheet because I'm lazy):

600000 545000 550000 600000 598000 750000 900000 850000 749999 825000 664900 634000 600000 599000 645000 600000 620000 607000 600000 610000 615000 610000 615000 649000 750000 640000 619999 624950 600000 619000 620000 625000 644000 644000 645000 642500 640000 620000 635000 894999 894990 840000 800000 594900 730000 725000 650000 637888 595000 555000 635000 649999 680000

You might want to do the same for a couple of days, help you pick your moment to sell.

@QuetzalQueen I'd keep it. Wildclaw Scrolls will always be around and you already worked hard for the Sprite, why sell it?

Plus in the past year that sprite has gone up 400kt. If you wait much longer it'll skyrocket like you wouldn't believe and you'll get your moneys worth on something you may actually like that isn't cycled! Or that's really hard to get like the Skinks if you're into that

I sold mine once I awakened it. I needed the money for something else more than I needed the sprite, and I'm not out to collect all the familiars or anything like that.

Sprites and many other 'in demand' retired items are like savings bonds. They are better than nothing and safe, but with crappy return rates. With any real effort at all, the funds you could get by selling it would generate many times more profit in the same amount of time.

The only reason I have sprites is because I had far more gems than I could use for AH flipping. Sprites are cuter than a number telling how many gems are in one's vault. For items you'd need that much currency for, they can be traded directly in a lot of cases.

Wildclaw scrolls aren't an investment. They aren't retired and barring hatching your own XXY or XXX gen1 dragon to use it on, there is zero chance of ever recovering the funds spent on one. As long as you realize the scroll is a purchase and not an investment and are fine with that, by all means go for it.

@Ygdrasill
I have my savings for a Wildclaw scroll well planned out, and there's somwone who has it on a payment plan for me (300k so far to 1.5 million treasure) I must admit that I am not really patient enough to wait for the scrolls to cycle back in, and while I will be able to buy the scroll without selling my sprite, that will me a huge boost. I appreciate your advice but it's ultinately my own choice. The Wildclaw scroll is very important to me, and the dragon I'm turning into a 'Claw will become valuable being a Gen1 and with her rare color combination (Green/Caribbean/Lemon)

@QuetzalQueen Hold onto the Nature sprite still. It doesn't have to be equipped on a dragon, it can be in the vault and still count towards your Bestiary.

Meanwhile, Wildclaw scrolls can possibly be cycled back into the gem market--unlike Sprites. There are only so many sprites on the site. Wildclaw scrolls will come back.

the Wildclaw scrolls will cycle back into the gem marketplace whereas the Nature Sprites are only going to get more and more expensive.
