TOPIC | [Poll] Named Dragons in AH
I don't mind it too much if the dragons I buy from the AH have names, though I do prefer them to be unnamed most of the time.

All my dragons I sell are named. (Thanks @Heeroku!) If people really like the dragon, a scroll of renaming is not too difficult to purchase.

I generally prefer unnamed dragons because I love coming up with names and most of my dragons have certain types of names, but I have purchased a few named dragons and ended up keeping their names because they grew on me.

Voted :3 I don't really mind, heck my second favorite dragon in my lair I got off the AH already named "Bylii" I never changed her name. Given, I realized soon that Bylii was from a friend of mine in another site that also plays here. I also got Garnet from the AH named, though her name is relatively good her parent's are another story...

Thank you everyone for the responses! From what I've gauged, "No, I don't mind if a dragon is named when I buy them from the Auction House" has held the majority between 61-68% since the poll's creation.

Answered. I really, really don't care about names. It takes like 5 minutes to earn 6k for a re-naming scroll and that's effort I don't mind spending on a dragon I like.

I don't care either way usually--I always name my dragons but if one comes with a name I'll either change it to one I like better or keep it. I *have* bought a dragon from the AH before *because* I liked the name.

@Infectionary There was no good answer to the first question; I answered "depends on the name", because that's closest; it is neither true that I "don't mind" nor that "I only buy named dragons". I prefer named dragons, unless the name is something really awful.

It also somewhat depends on my purpose. For hatchlings that I am going to exalt, I'd rather they already be named (but I won't pay extra for named ones). For hatchlings that I am going to flip, I enjoy getting to give them names (but I definitely won't pay extra for unnamed ones). For adults that I am going to exalt, I will actively seek out named dragons unless I'm trying to get lots of dragons in a hurry, because the named ones might be leveled. And for hatchlings or adults that I'm going to keep for a couple weeks or more, the parents being named is not-infrequently a deciding factor. (If they're not, I won't.)
