I dunno, maybe you could convince the Arcanist to use magic to make everyone believe making treasure isn't the only point of this game?

Magic continues to top, assuming you're ignoring the Beastclans. (And who doesn't ignore the Beastclans? The game's rigged so even if they place, they don't get the rewards!)
