Okay, so I noticed something recently when I changed my custom progenitor's primary gene to Tiger. Before the change, her tongue and the inside of her mouth was pink, but now...

...It's blue!
So now I'd really like to know if anyone else has noticed this with their dragons. It doesn't seem to happen with all colors of the Tiger gene, so I have a question -- how many genes and colors have a tendency to do this? Is it just Midnight Tiger that makes dragons' tongues a different color? I think I once saw an obsidian primary dragon with a black tongue, but I'm not sure.

Mouth colors are something I just can't figure out! For example, I had a steel iridescent mirror hatchling with an adorable blue mouth/tongue. But when he grew up, his tongue turned sort of beige.

I always assumed it just depended on the primary color... Huh.

i wish tongue color would change like that more often. the salmon color most mirrors get is ugly with a lot of combinations. maybe use two or three of the accent colors like what's used for horns, insides of ears, etc.

Yes I just noticed this in one of my mirror hatchlings;there was four, and all of them have green tongues whereas one has a pink tongue.
