- He doesn't care if he's male, he's going to smell like pretty flowers and you're going to like it.
- He loves researching constellations in his spare time and will often fly as high as he possibly can to get a better look at the night sky. This has resulted in many near-death experiences. He does it anyway.
- He loves soft things and when presented with a Soft Thing will immediately take it in his claws and squish it (but delicately, so not to rip it).
- He also loves anything his familiar brings him. Literally anything. He adores his familiar.
- At night or when he thinks nobody is watching he will take the tip of his tail in his hands to hold. This is because one night when he was a hatchling one of his siblings playfully nipped at his tail but it really hurt and he got into the habit of protecting it.
- This often results in him sleeping holding his tail. If confronted about this he will insist the other dragon is making it up until they leave him alone.

• Despite being so vain, Meles is still terribly shy, and often has trouble holding a conversation with others. This causes his clanmates to believe he’s stuck-up, considering his already vain nature. This of course, isn’t true, but Meles is too awkward to dispel the preconceptions.
• Before Meles moved to his current clan, he lived in the Southern Icefields—his birthplace. The Southern Icefields are flat, and barren, the perfect kind of place to stargaze. Because they're wasn’t much to do as a hatchling, Meles often found himself stargazing, to the point that he can now name just about every constellation and major star.
• This has carried over to his adult years, though he finds the opportunities to be lacking. The storms that cloud the sky in lightning territory often obscure the stars, much to Meles’ behest. (Plus, they cause his feathers to become staticky, to the point that they stick straight up. He definitely doesn’t like that.)
