He had little knowledge of the subject, what more the beginnings of a festivity as widely celebrated as this, but believing to know just enough to survive a simple trek across Sornieth did he prance on the tips of his toes and fly from one domain to another in search of a welcoming clan. He did find one here--where the winds swept high and long, and basking in the giddy excitement of a spooky night such as this, he knocks (timidly), almost hesitantly. "Trick or Treat!

[i]The King in Yellow, arms aching under the weight of the results of a long night gathering sacrifices for the elder gods, slowly stumbled through the forest. He couldn't really tell where he was going anymore, his massive pile of assorted random items blocked his vision too much to see in front of him, though he was becoming aware of a gradual change in scenery to the sides of his vision. Slowly the thick foliage and dirt was giving way to cobblestones and fancy gates dimly lit by well-arranged gardens of mushrooms. He really should be returning to the realms beyond soon, he thought. He had gathered plenty of sacrifices, why stay any longer than necessary? This line of thought was interrupted by him smacking quite hard into something large and flat that he had not seen directly in his path. A few sacrifices tumbled off his pile and he desperately tried to gather them back up with his tail, the only limb not currently occupied with holding him or his sacrifices up, unaware of the creaking sounds and rush of air next to him...[/i] "Who is it, that dares our home, on a night where the Veil is so thin?" [i]Oh! Mortals! He supposed a few more sacrifices couldn't hurt. What was that magic spell that would make the mortals give him things...?[/i] [b][i]"... Lady Coven sees the trick or treat sign the mirror dragon holds up." Ah, I see we have a brave trick or treater ready to fearlessly come through the forest looking for goodies. So many fights could happen without her to stop them. She then sees a hill with a manor on the very tippy top. She walked up slowly before knocking gently on the door. A Skydancer opens the door. "Hello there. If this little question isn't too much of an inconvenience for a great dragon with a good looking outfit like youself could you tell me if you seen a purple mirror with a sign saying trick or treat?" Xephra said sweetly. " Also, um.... Trick or Treat?" she said hastily at the end. (I'm supposed to have a different dragon right?)

A menacing hiss of steam emanates from whatever is approaching, making many of the dragons around nervous - what monstrous creature could make such a noise? Then the newcomer steps into the light and everyone breathes a collective sigh of relief. It's a dragon, dark in colour, with heavy metal wings alongside his own - another cloud of steam releases and it becomes evident that they were what made the earlier sound. Now, instead of being scared, some dragons are murmuring in appreciation of what looks like a very impressive costume accessory. Seemingly unconcerned with the scrutiny of other dragons, the dark Skydancer makes his way to the only group that wasn't scared of his approach - Guantian's group. The Guardian had started frowning the moment she heard the steam, and upon seeing the dragon, she reaches out to cuff him with a wing. "Anye! Where have you been?" she scolds, immediately circling him to inspect him. "Are you ok?" "I'm fine," Anye says, rolling his eyes. He's used to Guantian being a little overprotective by now - he is the first hatchling they picked up, after all. "The other dragons seem to think my costume is cool." There's a hint of bitterness in his tone. "At least I got a lot of candy out of it." Guantian sighs, but brushes a reassuring wing over Anye's back. "I knew we shouldn't have split up. And you're giving me and Huozai the candy to hold, we're not letting you eat it all at once." "Come on! I'm a mature dragon, I don't need you to watch my eating habits!" Anye scowls, but the hint of sadness is gone, and that's what Guantian was aiming for. "I'll be good, I promise!" "Hmm... we'll have to see about that," Guantian says. "In the meantime, I think you've got one more house to visit." She nods at you, and Anye scans you both, as if contemplating for a moment. "Hi," he says at last, greeting you with a smile. "Um- Trick or treat?"

WaterFlame hated being childish, yet the leader had said this was a good way to know the world. Oh well. She would have to survive through this. Perhaps she may even get something worth it.

Turning around she saw a pretty young pearlcatcher behind her? The loud Trick or Treat made her smile"Hello young Pearlcatcher I see you have delivered me a Trick this night, very well done. I shall have to give you a treat for that trick." Lady Coven notices a small fae hiding in the bushes and a larger shadow of a guardian in hiding. "Well I see you have come with friends, I hope they come out of hiding to get their treats as well. I will not forget your visit this night or the trick you played upon me" she said smiling broadly. "what a fun night this is."

This was their favorite time of the year. As he opens the door he sees a young mirror all dressed up, and behind the little dragon was a little red crane, that was a first! "Hello young mirror" he responds to a piping trick or treat, "I hope you are having a great night getting goodies with your little friend. You look like a lively young fellow and I am very intrigued by your companion. Here is a goodie for you and one for your friend. Come back any time, I am sure Lady Coven would love to meet you both.
