TOPIC | Find the squid

Path 1
As you hurtle down the mountainside, a few rocks hit you on the back of the head and send you tumbling. You roll to a stop at the bottom and quickly dive out of the way as the avalanche of rocks thunders by.
"OW!" You scream as some stray pebbles bounce off your wings. Brushing the dust off yourself, you shake your head and decide to leave; ain't no squid here. But upon close inspection, some of the rocks have odd runes on them, and so you decide to take them with you, as well as some "souvenirs" of your close call.
(You get some Acuity Fragments & some pebbles.)

You sigh and shake your head, but reach for the time-traveling machine's doorknob anyways.
Without warning, it comes off in your hand.
As you stare, surprised, a gush of seawater streams out of the hole where the doorknob used to be... and out flops a squid.
You yelp in excitement and lunge for the squishy dude... but unfortunately for you, there was another dragon in the time machine that was also diving for it at the same time.
The other dragon, a small Mirror hatchling, crashes into you. Stars explode across your vision, sending you reeling.
When your sight finally clears, you see the Mirror sitting at your feet, the squid in its claws. He seems to like you, and offers you the squid before tagging along. Looks like they're both yours, now...
(You get the dragon below [please breed him at least once before you exalt] and the squid - and you also get to start the next round!)

Gingerly, you pick your way down the path, your claws squelching in the mud at every step. The path takes you further... and further... and further into the Mire.
A sudden hiss to your left startles you, so much that you jump off the path and race into the swampy forest. When the hissing fades, you slow to a halt and look around, lost.
You sigh hopelessly and continue to trek through the trees, until you come across a small pond in the middle of a clearing.
As you near, you find what looks like a bright bundle floating on the surface. It's covered in mud and algae, but you scrape it off, pocketing some of the plants for later.
You give the cloth a shake, and out falls... a bone mask?! You shudder and bolt out of there, cloth and mask clutched in your claws. What a creepy experience...
(You get Green Algae x2, Harpy Masque x1, and Vibrant Rogue Mask x1.)
