New ones are still being set up as the Thundercrack Carnivale approaches, filling in what gaps are left between the multi-coloured tents and structures. As you walk around, the oppressive heat of The Shifting Expanse is starting to take a toll on your scales, too much more of this and you might be straight on your way for a dip in the ocean! So much of the Carnivale remains unexplored so you decide to walk to the outskirts of the stalls, hoping to find some shelter from the sweltering heat. In the distance you spot what appears to be a hollowed out mesa, the entranceway alone looks big enough to fit any manner of Ridgeback or Imperial. Evidently it’s a cave built by a dragon, so you hobble along the hot stone, gingerly placing foot after foot to avoid getting any unwanted burns. As you approach the entrance, you see a Mulberry skinned Ridgeback sat down, but it appears to be facing away from you. Slight whispering slips out on the breeze and the Ridgeback perks up, turning around to look at you. “Ah! Welcome!” The she-dragon grins, pausing for a moment to adjust her black fedora. Roulette/Poker- Flight Rising Style:
Closer to the gaping hole that is the entranceway of the mesa sits a rounded room, full of wire bundles surrounding electrically charged eggs. In the middle sits an obsidian Pearlcatcher with smoky patterning on her body, tending to the nests in her charge. Her head turns slightly, gazing in your direction before simply turning back the eggs. “Here you can guess the sex and breed of our clan’s hatchlings, or bet against the nests of your own clan,” Scarlet comments softly, her long tail lightly sweeping side to side. With delicate hands, she strokes one of the many eggs, which glows with her touch. “Take a closer look if you wish, but please, don’t disturb the babies.”

Flight Rising Quiz: You’ve nearly seen on the rooms now, so you decide to explore the last few to see what remains. The one you wander in to seems much more used than the others; some of the wooden furnishings have dust that’s obviously more than a week old on them. Huddled over a desk is a Skydancer, his long but tattered earthy cape covers most of his rust coloured body. Idly he flits through texts, writing down notes both in the books he’s reading and on a piece of paper below them. He seems to be paying no attention to you, so you clear your voice to announce your presence. The Skydancer gazes at you a while, before finally standing up and stepping away from the desk.
