Yeah, I agree. And while I do fall in love with plenty of blue/purple/black dergs, having looked through like 50 hatcheries from this thread, I'm starting to want some more variety on the color range front. Orange is pretty, too!

Personally, I think Custard and Ghiradelli make gorgeous babies, as do Custard and Midna, although you do end up with a lot of basic/basic/underbelly out of that one. Or Custard and Blair.

(Also, I just realize you've got a gen1 pair called Marta and Emil. My hat goes off to you for that one.)

@chronoimp - Yeah, I had a bit of the same problem with dragons. I have issues with too much of the same. You can tell by how much color chaos is in my lair. I love weird combinations that most people don't consider. Color chaos would be a good name of something....

I need more Custards. He makes such beautiful babies with nearly any female I have. I currently have him on a nest with Salix, so we'll have to see what interesting things result from that. They have the potential to be really nice. =)

(Oh, so you noticed those two. I take it then that you like Tales of Symphonia? I hatched those two myself during the first Night of Nocturne. =) )

@Orgetzu My tastes are all over the place. I really just want a little of everything, if it's pretty. And I'm quite a big fan of your color chaos, personally. ;)

I'm not usually a fan of that much yellow but he really makes it work. I think his babies with Salix might be a bit too yellow-green for my tastes, but we'll see! Certainly a lot of potential (and I do always get suckered in by the potential more than the practicalities of what a pair is actually probably going to make XD)

(Oooo, very fun! Yes, I used to play ToS obsessively with my brother when we were younger. Always nice to see a fellow fan. :3)

@chronoimp - Color chaos is best lair. Organized, themed lairs are pretty and everything, but I don't personally want one. Maybe I could just have my lair be Clan Color Chaos. Alliterative. It's great.

Yeah. Custard is just really nice with all his colors. Malik is my other very yellow dragon. I was the queen of lemon for a while. I think I had a third dragon around with it.. oh! Wait! AvadaKedavra has lemon tertiary. I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Hm. (I know. I love to breed my random dragons together. They often make ugly babies, but it's just so much fun. You can see a couple of not very great babies at the end of my lair, Zora and Bubble.)

(Are you sure you aren't my clone or something? I also played it obsessively with my brother when I was younger. I also had an older sister I played with the very first time I played it. I have several other "Tales of" games that are awesome, too. =) )

@orgetzu I've got a theme. It's must have all the pretty dragons. Clan Color Chaos also works pretty well, I think!

How is splash/splash coral a bad combo? Heck, I think they're both cute. Although I've learned in attempting to sell some dragons that I thought were cute that perhaps not everyone shares my opinions.

(We were a Nintendo-exclusive household for a long time, so I didn't get a chance to play any of the others. But I made up for it by playing through Symphonia and its sequel about a million times. Good stuff. I have always wanted to try the others out, though, which are your favorites?)

@chronoimp - Yeah. That sounds about like me. If I see a pretty dragon, I snatch it up. Pye and Zen are results of me looking at somebody's gathered exalt fodder. Oops. This is why I shouldn't go near other people's lairs. Or the AH. Or anywhere else where I could potentially acquire more dragons, for that matter.

Bubble is more fortunate than Zora, but people really hate coral, so probably nobody will ever want him. If I find somebody who will treasure either one, that will be pretty lucky. I really like a lot of dragons I breed, but most other people don't seem to. It's weird that there are so few people that like the oddballs like us. (I like how your lair is also kind of all over the place. It's pretty nice.)

(We probably would've been, but my dad and brother were way too attached to Sony. We've never had Xbox, though. We still played through Tales of Symphonia, among other games, quite a few times, though. I'm not really sure which is my favorite, and it depends on if you count story, characters, or gameplay. The others we own are Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Graces f, and Tales of Xillia 1&2. And we have Tales of Symphonia on Gamecube, of course, and the sequel on the Wii, and then the HD remake for the PS3. Can you tell we love our games just from this?)

Oh yeah, I agree. I bought the last unnamed imp in my lair today just because he was 15k and I forgot how to say no. Nori was much the same. My lair cannot keep up with the speed at which I grow attached.

I mean, right now, it's all basic, so you can't even see, but the coral would be really pretty as smoke or stained. I don't get the strength of the coral-hate, honestly. It's a bit of a weird color but it can do pretty things (the first dream dragon I ever scryed had coral glimmer, lol). Hopefully they'll both find nice homes. I do see "eyeburner" and "unique" threads occasionally.

(What a nice assortment you've got! I'm mostly a PC gamer anymore, but my boyfriend has playstations two through four, so I might have to look into getting some of those.)
