He's distracted, vague, and steps on his own fur to trip head over toe. (His sister laughs, but she always helps him up.) If you can get him talking, he can go on for hours about what he could do - what he will do, given the chance, given time. He's not all empty promises, though - he works, and he studies, and when he isn't doing either of those he's thinking - or talking. Sometimes his audience is impressed, and sometimes they warn him about flying too close to the sun. He thinks myths and legends are for dragons who don't have the guts to make their own history. At least, that's his impression of things - he may be keeping other dragons from associating too closely with him with some of his... habits, but that doesn't matter so much as the fact that right now, he's never had someone to consider a friend. His habits include these: muttering dark omens as he passes by total strangers, smearing red dye in shifty places, occasionally exploding things, and suddenly appearing out of nowhere. But they're just quirks - there must be some other reason dragons avoid him. Maybe he's cursed? (It doesn't help that his name is rather ominous - he claims it has a perfectly benign origin, but he's never actually come clean with exactly what those origins are.) He thinks he's inherited some of his father's foresight abilities. He knows of some places before he realizes they exist in the real world - a forest from his dreams there, a pond he's halfway through describing to a friend before realizing that he has no idea where it is because he's never been there. He usually stumbles upon the places sooner or later, and experiences a strong sense of deja vu whenever it happens. He's still working on figuring out how to use this ability in a constructive way. He slowly moved from hatchling-babble to high, clear notes, and as he grew he learned to put words to his songs. He matched both Coatl and common draconic into his melodies. In day to day life, if he comes across a situation that reminds him of one of his tunes, he can often be found murmuring it quietly. When asked nicely, he will also write songs on specific subjects; so far, he's done dedications to loved ones who have passed away, and funny limerick-style short pieces, and haunting wordless melodies. He's written ballads and drinking songs, and everything in between. One thing he won't do, though, is perform. He likes singing for fun, and he'll play any of his musical instruments for an audience, but anything he writes in song is performed by someone else.
