@EchoOfSky I’d love to adopt them both! I’ve decided that they are a traveling duo! Guillermo (the pearlcatcher) is a scholar trying to inspect the various magical traits of Sornieth and figure out how they work as he was never magically inclined. This lead him to the Starfall Isles, the main source of Arcana. There he met Aster (the obelisk) , a mage that had been living in the area for most of his life. Together they decided to look at the various aspects of magic. Aster wants to learn for a greater enlightenment and to become a greater mage while Guillermo wants to learn about it for the possible fortune and knowledge a study of the greater Arcane power could provide.
