Dragon Share

I see I'm not the only guy around with breeding color woes, but I'll share mine too. I bred these two, hoping for hatchlings who had the dark but vibrant colors of their parents. Right? Well, this is their damn daughter. She was hatched like this, and once I saw her my jaw dropped. I bred those two and got a freaking ball of flowery sunshine. I'm too new to have any true horror stories, thankfully, but this guy, THIS GUY. I kinda cringed when I first saw him, because come on, I got THAT to go with THIS lovely lady? [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=1058360] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/10584/1058360_350.png[/img] [/url] But I went and let them breed anyway. Big mistake. Turns out Rusty happens to be awfully rusty in the sack, as they only made one egg. And it was THIS. A friend took pity on the poor thing and took him in, but I vowed never to let Rusty and Lilith breed again. I did, however, let Rusty breed with another unpaired dragon I had...and got one egg. Again. It hatches tomorrow. Here's hoping it's not hideous.

You're my babies. But could you maybe possibly if it's not too hard [i]stop[/i] giving me babies in grey, charcoal and black? Seriously. Over ten babies later,[i] not one of them[/i] is obsidian. Heck, I'd even take coal over that blasted charcoal you keep giving me but nooooooo. Are you that jealous of your pretty color, mommy?! If the suggestion for cone of shame apparel goes through, I'll be buying you both one.
