Right?? Of course, I love a challenge (and can't afford scatterscrolls when I still need to Wildclaw Yuri) so she'll probably stay in my lair until better genes pop up... at least the eyes match camo on the wings, though. It's kinda nice. (And I do like the muted colors of cobalt spinner. Just a shame there's no better terts)

As for my progens, it's honestly kinda funny my random works better than my custom :') I want desparately to scatter him (will most likely end up scattering her... nice reds and greens, but ehhhhh) but I'm obsessed with Crimsidion and the fact that he was my custom--

You've made me fall in love with them, particularly Lazuli, I actually had absolutely no hope for her and now I'm pumped to start writing her lore! :> thank you so much! Anyway, today I've come to show you Borealis: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/87634410][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/876345/87634410_350.png[/img][/url] Despite his unmatchy tert, I love him very much, he was the first dragon I bought, and a permanent stay at my lair :) Though, I've tried so many times to give him proper apparel, and I never really get to a point I like :( Supposedly, he is an architect [sup](which is funny because according to the lore coatls "prefer to allow other dragon species to choose the shape and function of lairs, as they have very little knowledge of lair construction and maintenance", I made him an architect before learning about that lol)[/sup], and also has a more serious and stoic personality And... I just have no idea how to make that work with his color palette and whatnot? Anyway, yeah, even then these are just ideas and I can change the lore anytime as nothing is set in stone :) so you don't need to stick to the theme too much, or at all! Just have fun with him! :D

@Aelfsalia My Night Warrior and mage man in my PFP is a Pearlcatcher (apparently avoids fights at all costs). If you decide to change genes at all, Trail has more subdued accents while Skink is a pink-accenting Moon gene. Peacock may be the best tert gene to match although you can look and see if you like Capsule. A brown tert and accent will go well with dark blue and purple, as brown is just dark orange. Of course, I think Borealis already looks decent, this is just a suggestion! When I read "architect", I actually wound up thinking something closer to "construction worker" and went primarily with that. Which is funny since according to his bio he spent a long period of time being unhelpful. In that case, this could just be a post-construction concept and perhaps he wore something more decorative before. Either way, do make sure to save the outfit for Tatters if you haven't. And hopefully this helps with inspiration! Normally I'm not a huge fan of capsule, I only really like it when it's used as an alternative to underbelly/glimmer/really fits the theme of the dragon itself and when the more liquid part to "glass" is less clear, but capsule on him + the apparel you suggested fits really well!
And the apparel itself aaah so good!!

@Sonders Morwen: Never liked petals, but that gene combo is not something I'd buy even if the colors match. Your best tert is Runes, and you can either leave the first two genes unaccented or find cyan-accenting genes from both prim and sec as they will match. @Adrasci Omg thank you so much!! I originally bought Morwen for a project but I decided I didn't care about it anymore so I didn't have any use for him anymore. I love the second scry you made for him! All the colors match so well and the firefly tert makes it all look mor cohesive :D
For the first dusthide the black tert still doesn't grown on me </3 I love the usage of topcoat but I might for the third one and hope someday I find an accent that matches.
The second dusthide. Ohhhhh my god she looks so good!! Now I have to decide between the first and the second scry! Personally I don't love polkadot that much even though the stripes on the tail look so good.
