How about Abyss and Maroon (pretty, mix of red and blue sorta like Illustella)? Tert can be Trickmurk (black, dark blue, or dark red), Sparkle (white or close to), or Starfall (yellow range or white).

Honestly, not sure I'll do a subspecies for this. Things to figure out that I don't really like the potential solutions to.. but I'll find some other chance for that, I'm sure. and sorry admiralvermin for taking your cute skin and doing this with it--

Yeah, lots of things to figure out. Trust me, as someone who has four different breeding projects (including a sub-subspecies). Let me know if you ever think about it cause I'd be willing to help you figure it out.
(edit: heck you could just make like Hivemind and have ten billion variants so that you can just slap lore on something with starmap/constellation or something and then say that it's part of the subspecies. but shhhh)
