Scholars aren't exactly sure how this evolution came to be. Their body are made from a sugar like substance. Their colouring giving a hint what flavour they are. Gummi Worms having a big ratio of colours they can come in. The jelly they produce is a protective shell, making it so that they don't resolve in water. This isn't the only benefit the jelly has for them. Their bodies became very stretch. This allows them to squeeze into tight places. Allowing them to easily flee from attacks. As no predator can hold onto them. Eventually they will stretch themselfs out lf their grip. The Gummi Worms has a unique form of flight. They use their stretchy limps to propel themself into the air. Hatchlings can't do that on their own and need their parents to help them. Their nests are hidden in underwater caves. The opening is tight, making it so only Gummi worms can enter it. A perfect hidding spot to raise their young. A Gummi Worm hatchling has a white colour. They are neutral in all sense. No flavours yet. The parents would feed their young various types of plants. Making their colouring change. Historians say the bigger Gummi Worms took on the role of the protector in their communities. Naturally fighting more than their brothers and sisters. And over many years their size and jellyform changed aswell. They now looked more like predators, ready to attack anyone that attacks their family. Even though they changed very much over the years, they still keep Gummi Worms save. To thank their saviors the Gummi Worms will help clean the Gummi Shark after hunting. They soon made the switch to evolve their body to repoduce an acid like liquid. Similar working like ink that squids use for self defense. But by nature they are peaceful, only attacking when feeling threatend. Because of their chill nature they reconnected with their distant relatives the Gummi Worms and Gummi Sharks. When a Gummi Worm is in danger and is unable to find a hidding spot they often will try to swim towards an ally. The Gummi Gushers will fiercly protect them, their accid burning any predator badly. Gummi Sharks usually protect the Gummi Worm, but due to their size can't always get to tight places where some Gummi Worms reside. Making the Gummi Gusher their replacement in those areas.
