Hehe. New day new things! I'm so all over the place lol.
So today I want to finally make my Wings of Fire OCs in FR! I'm starting with one that's got a lot of character: Crimson. She's a Sunclaw, my made up ancestor species of Skywings and Rainwings, and she is also: The first hatched animus descendant, the first Firescales, and one of the most horribly traumatized dragons in my universe. Oh boy!

As you can see, she is a very firescales-colored dragon, and frankly feels like a big Peril copy actually (oops). This is Peril (a canon WoF character), for reference:
Both Crimson and Peril were raised by tyrants who forced them to do horrible things under the threat of "I'm the only one who can and will take care of you, and if you leave me you will die". Crimson's father just never put in the effort to pretend to love Crimson. He's a more powerful animus than her, and therefore very forcibly is able to keep her at home.
(Being an Animus means you have the power to do literally anything as long as you can word or think it through accurately. You can imagine the battles an animus father and child could get into over miniscule things.)
Also, Firescales means anyone who touches you gets burned. Anyone who hugs you? Goes up in flames and dies. Even dragons. Peril was kept in a coliseum for prisoners of war, where no one who faced her survived! Crimson was ordered to kill dragons and their children if anyone did anything that upset her dad. Sometimes it didn't even have to be because of that. Crimson killed a lot of eggs, not understanding why, and it was very upsetting.
Crimson (the host) develops DID from of all this stuff going on, but it's just her and one alter (named Vermillion after her dad, it's a whole thing and he forges his own identity after their escape) who basically takes the role of big brother who does all the horrible stuff for her to protect her sanity (like killing people. Her dad made her kill people mostly. The screams never really went away).
Crimson basically has to fake her death and go into a dreamless slumber for thousands of years to be able to escape her father. When she finally awakens again, the world as she knows it is completely gone, she and Vermillion no longer have their own body, and they are now inside the head of this young Mud/Nightwing animus who has no idea what's going on. Antics ensue.
And that's all the most important bits of the lore! Basically, I'm just putting this out there in case anyone else wants to try their hand at scrying Crimson! I'm mostly having a hard time with choosing the right breed for her as none of them have just the right vibe, but that's to be expected since none of them are Sunclaws, lol! I also get overwhelmed by colors and tend to just choose a few to focus on, but that could prevent me from knowing about other potentially awesome and fitting colors! Cue you guys. :3c
