This is such a cute idea! I've got several younglings who are excited for some treats! Don't feel like you need to give them *all* something, I just needed an excuse to practice my writing skills :D
Several hatchlings walk up to the nocturne's abode, all being chaperoned by a large pearlcatcher.
"Trick or Treat!~ Tehehe!"
The first one bounces up immediately. She's dressed in dark robes and a hood that goes over her head. She has giant fake fangs pertruding from her mouth. A little vampire!
"Boo! Trick or Treat!"
The second one speaks almost as quickly as the first. His glowing eyes are quite piercing, but that doesn't nearly add up to his entire get up. The little mirror has dressed up in a tattered blanket with four crudely cut out holes for eyes. A little ghost!
"Trick or Treat! Preferably Treat though.."
The third one is a small nocturne. His eyes dazing and spiraling about. He's wearing goggles that are far too big for his head, and has several mechanical parts on his wings and on his talons. He proudly flaunts them, and even has a little sticky note on one of the goggle's eyes saying 'I made this costume myself!!!' He's dressed up as a robot!
"Trick or Treat!! Yay!!"
The fourth hatchling is a banescale, all proud and strutting about, the young lady is simply wearing a onesie. A frog onesie. She has dressed herself up in pajamas and has called herself a frog. There are sleeves where forearms would have gone through, but since she's a banescale, they remain untouched, just flailing about. The young hatchling has simply dressed as a little frog!
"Trick or Treat from the tides!"
The fifth dragonet has dressed himself in a beautiful outfit. He used his fins to his advantage in this costume, and put on a large fish-like tail on his own fluffy tail. He dressed as a little mermaid!
"Treat or Trick!" "Trick or Treat!" "You said it wrong!" "No, you did!"
The sixth hatchling steps forward, and looks up expectingly, despite their arguing amongst eachother. They had barely dressed up, simply because they exquisitely fit the part! The twins look up with beautiful eyes as they show off their costume, which has little gemstones all across their fur and scales. They dressed as a little gargoyle!
"Trick or Treat!"
The seventh hatchling appears seemingly out of nowhere. Their runes seem to glow extra bright during this night, and their eyes pairing up with it. They give a big bright smile as they show off their outfit. Little angel wings sprout from their back and a halo gently presses on their head. They dressed as an angel!
"TRICK OR TREAT!!!! GIVE DEATH HIS GOODIES!!!"
The final hatchling jumps up and flies around excitedly. He shows his big glittering eyes, glistening excitedly. He seemed to wait for all of his other siblings to go before he would. He shows off his outfit excitedly. He's wearing a dark cloak, similar to the first child, but he is also wearing a giant skull across his face. He also is holding in one of his claws a stick scythe. He's dressed up as the grim reaper!
The pearlcatcher who was watching them all let out a laugh, looking at the nocturne with a gentle smile. "You don't need to spoil them all, they're all very thankful no matter what, isn't that right, kids?"
They all nodded in agreement.
