This is the master thread for my lineage project. I'm not sure where else to put it. Hopefully, I won't get lazy and will continue follow up on recording all the generations that follow.

Lysanthra and Lysperin
Star-crossed Warriors Lineage Project Lore and Characteristics of the Star-crossed Warriors Lineage
Lysperin and Lysanthra were adopted into opposing clans (Shrieking Wilds and Wandering Contagion). In the heat of battle during one of their clans regular territorial disputes, both were injured due to friendly fire, and in turn were accused of turning on their own, a saboteur from the opposing side.
They sought each other out in hatred, each determined to bring the head of the other to their clan as proof that a doppelganger existed. They hunted and fought each other to a standstill, far from their clans, an epic and lonely battle taking them far into the wildlands. A mistake. As they gathered their battered bodies to hurl themselves once more into conflict, the Serthis came upon them. Hundreds of prime young Serthis being led into the wilderness to begin this generations new civilization. Eager Serthis warriors surged forth to prove their might against the haggard and exhausted pair of wildclaws. What followed was a protracted and humiliating loss that forced both mighty dragons to turn tail and flee. Poisoned, wounded, the two hid together and forged a bond as they healed. They decided to make their bond permanent, even knowing they would need to start an entirely new life together, as their clans would never accept their union. They escaped to Starfall Isles to start a family and raise their children to eschew the folly of conflict between bretheren...and to absolutely despise the Serthis. Descendants of Lysperin and Lysanthra are shunned in both the Shrieking Wilds and Wandering Contagion clans. Though they tend to be peacemakers when among dragons (descendants may make good ambassadors) they are brutal warriors when needed. Their specialty is hunting Serthis, which has lead them to becoming excellent potion makers as they often need antivenom and antidotes to counteract Serthis poisons. This may lead some descendants into becoming assassins, healers, and chemists. Ironically, due to the need to work with venom, many descendants keep snakes and other poisonous/venomous creatures as pets. |
