Flare checked herself one last time in the mirror before she stepped out. Everything had to be perfect - her clothes pristine as if she were a doll that had just been finished and was placed in a toy-maker's window.
As she made her way towards the circular stage the roar of the crowd grew louder and louder. Although she had been doing this for a long time it still got her heart beating. She would make sure tonight was another great show.
Flare had been young when she ran away to join the circus. The fantastic costumes, the stunning acts, the explosive atmosphere, she had loved it all.
Making her way to the center of the stage, lit up by the bright spotlight, she called out in a clear voice to the hundreds of dragons watching from around her,
"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome... To Flare's Fantastic Circus!"

Craning your neck back, you see him. High in the night sky, shining like a great star. He is in position.
Aurora had been doing this for a long time, but he still got nervous before each dive. But, overcoming that fear every time, he would be sure to give a great show.
Closing his eyes and folding back his wings, he started to fall. The crows shrieks and gasps as his body hurtles towards the ground, with no signs of slowing down.
Down and down he falls, until finally, and with a big splash, he lands in the pool. A pool barely large enough to fit him, but somehow he still managed to land on target.

Some dragons can breathe fire, everyone knows this. But not many dragons can eat it.
Tatia surprises everyone when she takes the red hot flame and places it down her throat. Usually this would burn, scar a dragon, possibly even kill them.
But she is able to extinguish the flame with no damage to her mouth or lungs. All that remains of the once burning flame is a small puff of smoke out her nostrils.

Coral welcomes you with a huge smile and a shake of her sparkling mane. Above her the sign reads 'TICKETS HERE', as you approach tenderly and ask for 1 adult, please.
Everyone knows Coral's job is important, as she is the first thing you see before you enter the circus. A warm welcome and a glimpse of what is to come.
After all, its not everyday you see a dragon's fur shift and change like hers does...

Balancing the balls carefully on his claws, Valentine flashes you a wink and throws them into the air.
It's impressive, sure, but you've seen a dragon juggle before. But as the number of balls slowly increases from 3, to 5, to 10, to 20, flying higher and higher, rotating faster and faster, your appreciation turns into shock and disbelief. He starts to use his wings and tail, even lifting himself a few feet off the ground for a flip at one point.
Surely there must be some magic here, but you can't sense any at all. Just one crazy dragon, who is the best juggler you've ever seen.
And for a snapper he sure can dance.

But as you start to walk away you hear a scream from behind you. A Rockback Charger is charging through the crowd - right towards you. Right before it reaches you, Niki barks a command and it stops. Still shaking, you pick yourself up off the ground, then you see it.
A whole parade of animals, marching, swooping, slithering along in a neat line. All commanded by Niki. It truly i a spectacular sight.

A sweet smell wafts towards you from across the park, drawing your nose towards it's direction. The source? A small stall ran by a stunning pink imperial.
Cherry waves something pink on a stick towards you - it almost looks like a small cloud. When you ask him what it is he replies it's something called 'candyfloss'. It tastes like a piece of heaven has been plucked out just for you.
