Generally I don't get worked up over GenOnes or anything so several of my dragons are tied for 'most expensive' just if they had three gem genes I got them, but the winner is probably this guy:

Ignis! He has all gem genes, plus he's a G1 Nocturne from when Nocturnes were first introduced to the site and were at the height of their value. I bought his egg because I'd had no luck in finding any myself, despite grinding the coliseum for chests until my arm was killing me. I don't recall exactly how expensive it was but it was expensive. Then of course I had to get his genes on top of that, and his UMA, and probably one day I'll get him Primal eyes on top of it all.
I'd count his apparel (particularly the Will o' The Ember) too but I got that during the festival release, so it was actually much [i]less[/i] expensive at the time.

I think Inigo is the most expensive dragon I've ever bought from a initial price perspective. He's a gen two imperial, and it took a fair bit of saving to be able to afford both him and all the lavish seraph jewelry he's wearing.

My thing is sniping cheap, good quality Gen1s off the AH but this one I actually forked out like 8kg for and then I think her accent was like 1.5 or 2kg and I realize these days this wasn't even worth it, I overpaid like a mf

Arepo needed Glimmer, and Rotas needed Metallic, on top of their other genes. On top of that, I even bought some pretty expensive UMAs to match them.
