As far as what I didn't use - I considered the pale kelpie mane, the duneglider cape, and the bleached peacekeeping vest. I also considered the fairy tears colony for a more nature-y vibe, but I decided to stick pretty much to the book as far as light themed apparel. Some sets I would suggest: ethereal flame set, privateer, prim highnoon, flaxen unicorn, mage's ivory, bowman's, and porcelain steampunk. The frostfinder pants fit nicely but I'm not 100% on the rest of the set.
If you're comfortable introducing a few more colours than I did, the vintage starsilk, proper, and citrine flourish sets are also options, as well as the shifting kelpie mane.

It's a bit tough to get apparel to match his theme and his colours. If you want to forego keeping to his colours and jump straight to his theme, then I'd start with the cosmologist fieldtools - they'll give him a telescope and that bright pink arcane colour, and you'll be able to expand from there. If you want to use starsilks, I suggest the verdant as a starting point.
Here's what I didn't end up using:
The swamp kelpie mane is a good choice for hair. The boneyard bard can intensify his greens and give you a new theme to work from, if you want it. The bamboo sedge hat is really neat on him but covers up his eyes. The daybreak decorations are lovely on him but are a bit opposite to his current theme. Both the tree warden's garb and the airborne parchment are great choices, but don't match your theme, and in the case of the former covers a lot of that beautiful constellation mane. The white gold flair scarf is very nice on him, I just didn't get a chance to use it. The gleaming or fading chitinous armor sets are good picks for armor, and the ivory aviator scarf is also sweet on him. The meadow teaset is also a good choice for him. The barbarian, kelly green, and faerie rose thorn sets are also worth trying on him.
