Summoning is less interested in the con itself and more interested in seeing if the Emperor has any relation to the Tidelord's disappearance. The Lightweaver did mention the incident that were Emperors when announcing that the deity had gone missing. She also plans to report back to the head fighter, Abyss, who wants to challenge (and possibly slay) the emperor.

Obviously Poltergeist had to attend this glorious event. Her curiosity awakened at the thought if seeing a real-life Emperor. If she did... well she won't tell, but she did get a nice plush that keeps her company and scares the hatchlings of the Clan by just floating by, making weird noises.
