this is Brightwell! he's the son of my custom progen and he's a very previous and old boy (he's been in my lair for 4 years now!). he's been in my hib den due to me having trouble picking genes for him.
however, today i scried him and picked out some genes i would like for him! the above is how he'll look when i gene him. however, i'm having trouble deciding whether or not to get a tertiary for him or to just keep it basic.
he's got sable as his tertiary and it's honestly not a terrible color, especially with the pallet he already has. i think underbelly and spines look good on him but so does no tertiary. so what are your opinions? should i keep the tertiary as basic or get a different tert gene for him? thank you for your help ^^

He's beautiful! May I suggest you just leave his tert basic? You can always add it later if and when you feel it's needed..or not. He looks great just as he is!

@lupa77 He looks really good with basic, but I really love how spines looks with his mane, also thylacine works super well with his colours too:

Maybe could be the dragons soul colour or maybe colour of his magic. Can be creative on why kept basic.

I'd personally try to give him a tert! Sable is very fitting for him, so I think you have some options :)

While the tertiary genes that you are considering do look nice, I think that he looks just as lovely the way that he is. Personally, I’d leave the tertiary at Basic. Especially if you plan on dressing him. :)

I'm going to second the thylacine option, it looks really, really good over that cream primary, like a tabby cat!
Other than that, I think basic is the second best option! He looks so nice and soft.
