Welcome to Wind Wyrm Lore IV. I don't have any new banners made by the previous manager of this tradition, Azurenight, so I did my best with some shoddy formatting. It's good isn't it? Well, I hope I can keep this going yet. I had a lot of fun reading all of your last decade, so I hope we can keep it up for a while longer. I am going to try something new this year, however. Professor Frampt has attracted the interest of my clan with his work, and he has managed to gain the assistance of some of the clan members who share the element of those he researches.

A stiff wind weaves through the crowds, catching on the banners and lanterns that dance around the gatherings. Though cool, the debauchery is keeping everyone warm. Warm dress and warmer drinks make for a merry time. There are whipping banners and there is food and also song and dance from all sides of the world. Travelers from just as far can be seen in every group.
At the center of the plaza sits a well-anchored tent with chimes and kites all over. Inside are the cheers and play sounds of many children and other younglings. As you enter, a group of children and their guardian, encircled by an Imperial. This holiday is one of storytelling like few others, and seeing all these children having such grand fun is a testament to that.
In that tent is Trinity.
As the first of his clients arrives, Trinity turns to greet you. She whistles to her flock and they all turn to listen keenly. "Okay children," Trinity starts and flaps her wings happily, "we have a guest, please give them your attention." A collective cheer of approval rises from the kids.
"Okay then, who has their question ready?" Trinity asks gingerly, her eyes finding the first to speak immediately, as is her ability, she already knows. A dozen hatchlings vie to be the first.
Frampt chuckles to himself, "Let's start then."

Trinity is Frampt's assistance this month. She is a Seer and is the clan's Nanny essentially. She helps take care of hatchlings and teaches them many basic things before they decide what they want to do themselves, things like writing, basic magical control, and math. She watches them with her foresight to keep them safe and motivated to the best of her ability. She tries to bring in masters of craft to help her kids find their interests.

Molli is the clan's new Postmaster. I don't have much lore for her yet. She is taking over where the last Postmaster left off. She refurbished the post office atop the tavern, but she can't get the birds the last Postmaster used to collect or transport mail anymore. They have mostly lost that ability over the last few generations.

Nightfall, or Sirius, is a magic instructor for the Circle of Magi. It is a school specially designed for Magic instruction. The Circle was first formed in response to the Bounty of Elements which bolstered magical energy in dragons, making it more dangerous to practice magic in an uncontrolled environment. Sirius used to be a spirit, but he became a physical being when he was stranded in this world. His nature allowed him more control of his magic, which made him perfect for teaching youngsters, as the BOTE made it more dangerous for even expert mages to use their magic. Now, he and his mate teach a few classes of young mages.

Aura is the clan's representative to the wind flight. She's a traveler - never staying in one place. However, she takes her position seriously enough that she's able to fulfill it. She'll just take a few more days than most dragons to actually get to a place, since she'll wander off on tangents and sometimes even get lost. She really needs someone who can act as a personal assistant.

She carries a heavy tome, its pages filled with a great many tales, dark ink preserving them against the wear of time. She selects one of them, her spectacles glinting slightly as she begins tell of a windsweapt town and the Witchborne who came to it's rescue. . . This is the tale of the beast called Morgana.

Well, better late than never! Aura reminds me of Frampt actually. I haven't finished the lore for Molli yet, but she might likewise be airy in temperament. Who knows?

At the end of reading that, it really reminded me of
Venom, but I also got a
Witcher Vibe from it. It is interesting to note that if I did not know about Flight Rising, I would think that all the characters are actually human-like, even with the mention of scales and feathers. I think that makes for an interesting thought at least.
I don't really have a dragon similar to Morgana and the Witchborne to show you, but that's okay. I liked reading about them.

At the end of reading that, it really reminded me of

Like who he's named after, Starscream is a cowardly, and arrogant liar, who wishes to overthrow his clan and rule the world. For now though, while he is rebellious, he is for the most part, obedient, as he grows stronger and waits patiently for his time to come.
Despite his many (failed) attempts, Shayphix (clan leader) still keeps him around, as when he's not attempting regicide, he's quite skilled at his job, able to command the clan well and efficently. Shayphix isn't worried about him killing her, able to keep him in his place with more ease than Starscream will ever admit.
