My luck has been mixed. Other than one nice xyz, I was hatching exclusively mediocre to hideous dragons. I'm a serial egg hatcher, too; other than a few I'm saving for my birthday I hatch everything I find.
On Christmas, though, after a few ugly hatches, I said "nope, not having a sad dragon christmas" and splurged on gems to buy more eggs. Those came out much better, for the most part.
