I am happy to announce that the tertiary gene stained has been added to the allowed genetics! I am also in the process of working on a fourth category, but it's going to be a little bit before I'm finished working on it. It'll be in the red ranges, so look forward to their addition to the subspecies! Once I've made some updates I am considering doing a lore contest and would love any input anyone has for ideas and prizes. I have a few thoughts on some things, but nothing solid quite yet. Please welcome [b]Blood Stars[/b] to the Stardust Dragon Family: [i] [b]Blood Stars[/b] The origins of Blood Stars is not truly known, though speculation is owed to the ancient Rogue Royal Star family Andromae that left the cities and worlds of their brethren to strike out in the vastness of space. This seceding of one family was unheard of, and rumors spread that they disagreed with allowing Abyssal Stars to mingle amongst them in society. This family had been presumed lost to the dangers of space, but when red colored dragons similar to themselves begun to appear on the fringes, attacking and marauding any they came across, the stories began. It’s commonly known that Blood Dragons would use any captured as blood sacrifices to some unknown being that they think even predates themselves, though most Blood Dragons that have entered back into societies no longer practice. Believed to have turned the color of crimson from the blood that soaked and tainted their violet scales, Blood Dragons are often seen as terrible threats to other stardust dragons. It is supremely rare that a Blood Dragon is ever allowed into modern stardust society, but since they too share the same threat as being attacked by the Shade more and more they’ve begun to make uneasy alliances in the clans they settle in. [/i] I have updated all the front page posts with the information on blood stars as well as their colorings. I also have a breeding pair for the new blood stars up (and two unofficial pairings hiding in my lair I got a bit overboard for this new category whoops) that will be bringing some bloody babes into the foray. Finally, [b]Royal Dance[/b] will have a nest of three hatching tomorrow! My first royal star offspring will be available after the site maintenance. That's it! I hope you're all as excited as I am for this new category! I know I'm pretty jazzed for the lore that will come of it.
