Lair- The clans main outpost is a enormous what appears to be Emperor’s skeleton. Its 3 hears 6 wings and 5 tails stretch across the land. However, this specific specimen is so large that 2000 dragons could roost on it and still have plenty of space. Some skin ,that hast turned to leather by the heat still clings to the now bleached bones and other skin and bones have been added to make nest and sleeping corters. As half of the core body structure is buried under the earth, tunnels and caves have been excavated to get out of the scorching heat, using the bones as support structures. These tunnels go deep into the earth and are mainly used by mirrors and those with great site. Of the 6 wings only 2 of them still have leather on them the top right and the second t to the bottom left. While the main structure of the lair still looks like the emperor , there has been much more added. It looks like a fortress with ledges built in odd areas, twisting and turning around the bones making a easy path from land level to the top. Bones, feathers, furs, tails, and other items collected on the hunt decorate the ledges , stairs and other crevasse. Every day The lair changes a little , a new platform is made or trophy added. On the outside of the lair , about 1 mile away in all directions are very tall decaying rock formations that the clan maintains as guard towers. Usually the vultures take turns sitting on the top of the towers scanning the horizon in every direction. These structures are not actually part of the lair but serve well to keep an eye on who is coming and going.

Back at the lair, under the ribs of the giant beast there is a large rock that weathered over time has become a large bowl were water can pool. This water is used for both drinking and bathing but is constantly cleaned and filtered at least to a plague dragons standard. When the dragon fell here it slid across the ground displacing the earth creation a small walled cliff around the back of the laid and caused the two of the heard to be elevated above the body. The tail bones have separated over time but are now connected by leather bridges made by the clan. Some dragons make their home under the bridges in the holes of the vertebrates. The two left legs are buried in the ground now with only the back foot breaking the surface about 2/3rds of the way in the center of the rib cage as if it went through the stomach of the beast. The right two legs are above land off to the side, the front bent as if it was attempting to stand before it died and the back lead elongated back to the tail at a 45 degree angle, badly broken but still distinguishable.

Society – The way of life here is all about survival. Ether find what you need or trade something of worth for it. There is no one ruler per say , but a pack of them called the scavenges. All other dragons perform some job to appease or benefit the scavengers in some way. The main rule in the lair is possession, what ever a dragon finds and claims is theirs. Which means the greatest crime is theft, because you did not work for the reward, and that is considered a weak character trait. The lair grows in 2 ways. The first, is by force. If they see a dragon they need, the scavenges will take them against their will and make them a part of the clan. Most clans and dragons appose but the carnal clan does not care. They stalk the clans with a strong show of force and keep them moving till they are tired and weak then they strike. If the dragon still resist they put the new member into a holding cell and starve them till they submit. As long as a dragon is healthy and productive they are allowed to thrive in this lair. But if a dragon is considered weak they are discarded. By weak it does not mean sick, every dragon gets sick in this land. What weak means is weak of heart, body, mind or conviction. Once a dragon starts to bring the clan down they are a liability and must go. If a dragon is left on their own it is usually a death sentence so most just learn to provide. A little of each dragons findings or services are owed to the clan, it 5% of what ever they have gained that month, or 5% of their time/ services that are taken for no compensation.
The scavengers - are the strongest, bravest and best survivors the lair has. This group is comprised of musty mirrors and a few other dragons such as skydancers for scouts. These dragons live life by strength and loyalty to the lead hunter. This can change at any time a dragon proves themselves better that the current head hunter. Any one of the members any one of the members at any time can chose to challenge for the position with out consequences. But they must understand that the lead will not hold back and any injury that is brought upon by the challenge is of their own fault. The fight will continue till one dragon dies or concedes. Some concede and are tended to like nothing has happened. Others, have to much pride and will fight till the death. These dragons also all sleep, mate and eat together to strengthen there bond. If they mate to procreate wich is not always the case, they will chose only the strongest to keep and the rest will go to the brood tenders. Each dragon should know the other dragon so well that they anticipate their actions.
Vultures are a sub set of the scavenges but still included in them. The mirror are a less close to the dragons that can not run and prefer to fly. Though they treat them fair and keep them included. The Vultures are primarily skydancers as their job is to fly and do a lot of it. They are scouts and Ariel help on the hunt, but mostly just assist, never lead.

Witch Doctors – these dragons try their best to keep the lair healthy. They are very important to the lair and highly protected. These dragons also assist in tending to herbs both useful and recreational. These dragons seldom leave the lair, they spend most of their time studies, performing experiments and planning new ones. They do not always have willing patients so sometimes they will make the less fortunate sick so they can practice healing them.

Brooders- help raise the young of the lair. Basically, they own them in a way, or take on the role of parent to mold them into what the lair needs or what can profit them the most. They usually do not teach the kids nice things, mostly stealing and conning but never in this lair only outside at the trading post or other lairs.

Crafters – create, they use everything that they get to build and expand the lair. These dragons also create useful items like clothing and war paint for when the clan hunts. Almost never combat ready the crafters are lower on the food chain of the lair. If there is a shortage these are one of the first dragons to suffer.

Smugglers – take contraband the clan creates or discovers and smuggles them into other clans to make personal profit. These dragon are more selfish then most .

Fallen – are thin sickly individuals that live on the outside of the lair. None dare venture inside the bone structure. These dragons are much more desperate, and live off the scraps of the lair which is not much in the plague territory. Most of them are underweight and malnourished. Most

Nezera- She is an older dragon, though dragons do not age as other creatures time still does take its toll. He hide has been toughened by sickness and the elements but this has only made her stronger. Her lean buddy is all muscle toned to perfection by the many of long hunts she has been on. Her body is slightly taller at the shoulder than most mirrors and she hangs he head low, even with her shoulders. This amplifies her leanness giving her long legs for her frame. Her hide is darker than it once was and is now covered in bony plated scales attributed to her age and wisdom. She has a a claw scare on the back left thigh that looks to be from a much larger dragon, and he bony face plate is cracked from on the top of her right brow to the bottom of her upper lip creating a diagonal fissure across her face.
Nezera is wild and savage but controls it most of the time, and watches over the lair in a stern silence. She only erupts when a dragon does not know their place or she is on a hunt. From a young age she always seemed to have a higher intelligence than others of her kind. With this she has learned to control her hunger and her primal instinct. It is still very hard to control but she does it because she wants a different life. She wants a home, a constant family and a place to call her own. The idea of constantly traveling and depleting all that is around her seems counter intuitive. So she is set on holding this group together by force if necessary and building a future for those that are built or determines to survive here.
Her past was typical, she grew up in a mirror clan with her parents tending her and raising her strong. She spent a lot of time scavaging and moving from place to place and it bored her. She had not problem with the distance but she had a problem with the process. So she did something that most mirrors would never do , she looked at her clan moving north and she turned south. Shedding her clan was not the only thing she did, she shed her name and her parents as well, fro that day on she had none. She went nameless for a while , being a lone there is no urgency to rename yourself because there is no one to tell. But when she final set up camp next to a trading post she was given the name ???? which means stranger in mirror native tongue. She became a street fighter at the local fighting pits , fighting her way to the top and making a lot of money for herself. Finally she was to fight the champion a mirror named Fang who had been champion for 10 straight seasons.
