Tips for saving... hmm... well, I'm not very good at saving, because I buy so many dergs and have so many plans for them! But I put all my treasure and gems in my hoard, and only take out the exact amount I need to buy something. This prevents me from impulse-buying things, especially around the Auction House! Actually, I just completely ban myself from going to the Auction House. Best of luck with your projects!

My tips for saving are to set yourself smaller goals to complete and to just grind in the coli! If you set yourself smaller goals, it keeps you from getting discouraged and can make you fell like yu are accomplishing something. If you grind in the coli you have the opportunity to get rare drops, and even if you don't you can hoardsell for some extra treasure!

This guy is my lastly finished G1 project, he started out as a triple basic mirror and the day I was contemplating keeping him as one, the WC scroll cycles in so I rushed and bought it.

This girl took so long to finish, but it's definitely worth it. She was the first egg I ever hatched and I love her.

The best tip I can give you is to sell as MANY things as possible for gems. Even if it's a small apparel piece that isn't worth much, every little bit helps. Put all the gems you earn in your vault so you're not tempted to spend any. Spend a lot of time in the coli to get items/food to sell, and if you have spare gathering turns, spend them on scavenging because unhatched eggs are a good chunk of money.
Another thing you can do is exchange your treasure for gems. A lot of people offer that in the Item Sales forum. Of course, browse around to find the best exchange rates.

If I really want to save, I stick it in my vault. It doesn't always work, but it gives me some barrier to spending.

These three are my current favorites/most recently completed! The top two just got their breed changes! And the bottom girl I impulse bought from a G1 exalt block thread. I'm happy with how all of them turned out! I even finished the bio of the top WC lady that I'm super proud of! [emoji=ridgeback laughing]
