But he seems to be just staring at the sky rather than doing anything, and seems like his body is becoming dim, as well as thin. How long has he just been standing there and staring at the sky? There doesn't seem to be anything there..... Are any dragons bold enough to try to snap this large dragon out of whatever trance he is stuck in? Might be a good idea to ask him why he's just looking at the sky like he's waiting for something. Or why he is in bad shape.... (As a note: This is meant to just be a fun lore thing for me and others to take part in; but I will likely comment on any dragons that ask anything or talk to Grima right here. (I will likely get extra excited if any FE fandragons show up, but I'll get excited to see any dragons!)) ((NOTE: I'm subbed to the thread, but I won't mind getting pinged by mistake!))

The voice was a glitched mess, monotone and quiet, echoing in the air and in the dragon's mind. There was a gentle brush to his side, the faint glow of two deep purple orbs blinking at the dragon as the small imperial circled around him.

Nighttime gave her the chance to move around freely, both because of the shade it provided her, and the cool weather it came with. Using the stars that peaked in-between the trees as her guide, the female moves West, back to where home would be. Three days, since she's entered the jungles of the Shreiking Wilds. The environment was familiar to her, and the dragon navigates her way through the brush with ease. It was at the height of the waxing moon, that Levie found herself entering a clearing. A problematic situation that she would've found troublesome in the day, the female thanks the night once more for the darkness it provided. Yet, the moon had presented yet another situation. While she had no trouble navigating through the clearing with the moonlight, the nighttime light had presented to her another strange fellow: The sillhouette of another dragon stood in her path. Its figure, gazing upon the night sky like a lover. It's been days since since the dragon had laid her glance upon another dragon, even more so an imperial of such size. Worn and soiled, Levie decides to try her luck, and wanders closer towards the drake. It seems like the stranger hasn't noticed her presence, despite her own size. She observes him from under her hood, saying nothing for a long while before opting to sit with him. "Your past and your future are quite muddy to me, constantly changing, but filled with strife, agony, and pain through much of it..." She speaks in a soft-spoken tone after time has passed, but she knows the dragon can hear her just fine. "Much of fate and destiny is not kind to you, even in this world, it seems... I need not have to say that to you, I know, but I wish to say paths can change on a whim, even for Fell Dragons." She falls into contemplative silence again, almost as though she watches the strings of fate being pushed and pulled from underneath her hood. Again she speaks, but this time, it's a question. "What are you waiting for, Grima?"

(Oh geez, so many already! Alright, time to flex them writing muscles!)

@Finnallia

The Imperial doesn't even turn his head or move his eyes to look at the Spiral, just continuing to stare at the sky like he was already doing.

"......You need a better joke."

Ok, at least we know he can hear and also speak.

(That's a pretty Spiral!!! And don't worry, that was a good pun, Grima is just a stick in the mud.)

@FishTanks

The gentle brush to his side actually caused him to look down out of an old habit that he hasn't had reason for in ages; and he just nodded before turning his head back to the sky. He didn't even question why this hatchling didn't seem fully natural; but he did enjoy the sight of something smaller than him that also has a similar body to him.

He was no longer his original species of dragon of course, but it was something.

"The stars never change of course. But I'm not watching for that. I'm watching for someone very close for me; she is even larger than me, so if she is flying, I should see her with ease. At least, I want to hope she was spared my fate and is trying to find me once again."

(UNKNOWN is a good baby, even if it acts a bit like a robot and would be offputting for anything that isn't a dragon that has seen a lot of things and has little ability to care at this point.)

@Despairing

(GRIMA OFF, GRIMA OFF!! Also....Yeah, this guy has a number of HCs wove into his background that I haven't shared yet; and also doesn't like at least some of the Grimleal. Or the idea of......Well, just read I guess.

Also that's a fantastic Grima, 11/10, would allow to call me worm and not care at all.)

Grima actually was quick to take his eyes off the sky when he sensed another Fell Dragon; a familiar sense of no longer being alone washed over him at first, quick to try to locate the other Fell Dragon. But....this quickly turned to aggression when it was another claiming to be the only Fell Dragon, meaning that they claimed they were the only Grima. And this wasn't the one he would allow this from.

"Fool, there can be more than one Fell Dragon; I have seen it with my own eyes, though the number has never been more than fo-......two in total at a given time."

A loud growl comes from the Imperial when (F) Grima thinks for even a moment that he is Grimleal. "The Grimleal I knew were the scum from the bottom of the barrel; I never got to know what the true faith was like, but the part that tried to control me.....I hate it, and desire to destroy it; they caused the events that led me to be killed again!!" Oh, he doesn't sound happy......But, Grima is quick to calm himself, turning his head towards the skies once more.

"That, and Grima was originally not a name for myself; it belonged to the other Fell Dragon I knew, but our dragon selves looked so similar, it eventually referred to us both. My true name is Reflet, if you wish to hog the name of Grima for yourself. And if it feels like you know me from somewhere....Eh, you feel familiar as well, but it might just be your aura.......Or maybe we did meet in one life, for all I know. Or you met-.....No, no you haven't met her, I'm sure of it."

@Kintoro

"I'm fine; my neck is used to it."

Grima had tried his best to ignore the fellow Imperial, despite the slight excitement from seeing a dragon similar to him; this was not another Fell Dragon, no need to get excited. But the sound of a tail thumping on the grass near him, and of word caused him to break his silence, if not his skyward stare.

He had to keep watching......He had to; he didn't want to miss any sign of his rare desert flower if she was trying to find him. Provided she could escape the First Exalt's attack.

He hopes she did; he hopes his children did as well.

"................Though I guess I should let it rest soon....." He refuses to say it. But his neck is actually starting to hurt. That, and his constant hunger is bothering him, though he is lacking much will to eat all that much. Or take care of himself really.

Well, at least we know he's not a statue.

(SHADOWLING. No seriously, I love seeing Shadow dragons that fit the flight! Mainly because that was my first flight!)

@WispyShadows

Grima makes no remark when he can sense another dragon just watching him, choosing to continue his intense watch over the sky. Nor does he try to stop the Spiral from approaching and sitting next to him.

And once she starts to speak, he simply listens, nodding at times due to her words. All of what she said.....was honestly true. So much pain.....So much grief. It seemed to follow him all throughout his life, either caused in self-defense, caused in a feral rage, or inflicted upon him. But.....He hopes he can still find a way to change his path to one where he can finally be happy and at peace.

And then the question of what he was waiting for. A great question, but one he had to debate on sharing the answer to.

".............I'm waiting for my desert flower to finally find me once again. But I know it's hardly possible to see her once more. But yet, I can't find the will to carry on without her, hence my state now. Though I do need to start finding the will to eat more; I think she would want me to do that much at least, even if I lack the strength needed to do much else besides that and watching the skies for a sign of her."

(That is honestly an awesome Spiral; and yes, Grima didn't fully process that she called him by name. Though maybe he was not questioning it after she called him a Fell Dragon and was accurate about his past.)

Yet something about this creature, this massive Imperial, has brought out her sympathies. They look...Like they're hurting. She cannot allow anyone to remain in such hurt. Her magic is good for physical wounds, but best for the stranger, more mystical ailments of this world. "Can you hear me?" she asks. Eleven be damned, she's throwing her life away, isn't she? Perhaps it's for the better that Luna approach with her weapon drawn. Truth be told, she still isn't much of a fighter - despite all the training she's been given, she is more healer than warrior, more lady than lancer.

If it saves one more, if it saves anyone, though, she will not hesitate to do that. She is a healer, saving others from whatever curse might rot their very being is her job.

"Be at ease." Her composure is rock-solid, and it shows in how her every word comes out steady and without hesitation. "My name is Lunafreya. If you are suffering, I may be able to help you. ...Fell Dragon."

The name escapes her involuntarily. She doesn't know why that title comes to mind; she's never heard anyone use such words to describe another dragon. Something, however, seems to whisper in her ear, telling her that this creature is Grima, the Fell Dragon.

Such a title is troubling. Frightening, even.

Perhaps she has made a mistake.
