His skin is riddled with battle scars, and torn where his Gembond has stretched it too far. His wings are tattered and his scales are without luster. One horn is damaged, but his teeth and claws are still strong. Shale is a survivor. But he is a Guardian dragon without a Charge. He has searched far and wide for his Charge, but has been unsuccessful thus far. During his most recent Search, however, he came across a tiny orphaned Fae dragon being harassed by Mirrors. It took little to scare off the cowardly Mirrors, and the Fae thanked him for his help. Shale had hoped this was his Charge, but he was wrong, and he had to keep searching. The Fae followed him, and he did not mind. He grew protective of the little dragon he had found. This Fae, Oberon, was a survivor like him, and even shared his affliction of Gembond. Even as Oberon limped and moved oddly, he remained cheerful, and Shale could respect that. Over time, Shale began to treat Oberon as a son--even if he may not admit such--and is extremely protective of the little Fae. But if you look very closely when the two interact, you will see a soft side to this old, battle-scarred warrior that he only shows to Oberon. ----- ----- [center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=3300761] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/33008/3300761_350.png[/img] [/url][/center] [center][b][u]Elijah[/u][/b][/center] Elijah was formerly a soldier for a Fire Clan, until his final battle resulted in irreparable damage to his wings and he fell into the Sea of a Thousand Currents. He managed to swim away from the battle but soon became lost and listless. This is when Luna Naga found him, took him in, and nurtured him back to health, though they could do nothing for his wings. Unable to fly or battle, unable to return to his home, Elijah was deeply saddened. What was his purpose now? The Clan's Bantam Fangar took interest in the lonely Skydancer and gave him company. The hatchlings which the Bantam Fangar were babysitting followed, and huddled around the dragon, and Elijah realized he was no longer alone. He discovered his new purpose in taking care of the hatchlings, becoming a teacher and role-model, along with the Bantam Fangar, now his Familiar.
