Nigyn is definitely some sort of Ice / Arcance / Shadow hybrid, though I haven’t really thought about this in the past!! Really neat idea! He was born Ice, but due to his obsession with magic once he got older (including some darker forms of the art) he could probably be considered both Arcane and Shadow as well. Perhaps I should add something about this to his lore / bio!

That is an amazing plague/nature combo! I absolutely think matching dragons to real life in-between things is the coolest thing ever!
A couple of my flight reps are technically hybrids, like my plague pair (once the female decides to grant me the actual colour/gene combo I want).
They are inspired by decomposition in water tbh - wet, skinless and slimy. Their offspring can look like they are in various degrees of decomposition because of green/yellow stained.
Lore wise they are dragons from the border of the plague and water territories.

My wind reps aren't even wind dragons, they are nature and light dragons, who felt drawn or called to the wind element and over time came to resemble the landscape. All my reps are more or less minor deities. Foehn and Monsoon are supposed to look like the wind in grass.

Weltos is from a whole subspecies of Lightning/Arcane nuclear physicists. Or, in Weltos' case, nuclear reactions. You might want to wear some lead shielding around this guy. =P
