I got Multi-Gaze on my 23rd scatter on my boy but it just wasn't for him:

So then I scattered until I got what I wanted - Primal! :D (after 76 scatters!)
And to everyone scattering their dergs - try not to give up! I was minutes away from heading off to bed and I finally got what I wanted - you never know when the next scatter will be the one!

I’ve gotten rare twice, but that’s nothing compared to uncommon/unusual. I’ll keep trying (because why not) but I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of this change.
