Vessels:
Vessels are dragons that are singled out by seers as bodies that can be imbued with enough power to allow the members of the a cult to pass through the time of sade to the new world. They are the most important members and are respected and protected above else. Though often not necessarily to the thought of the happiness of the dragon whom may or may not have been forced to become imprisoned for the role.

Requirments: All black skin, Cracked skin showing the colour of their flight (through accents/skins or crackle gene)
Common Attritubes: lethargic (their bodies take a lot of energy to move because of their great power, they prefer to maintain their strength), flight emblems (used as seals in magic bind spells to help the vessels bodies to contain their power as well as not completely explode), bandages/bindings (either normal bandages to bandage their wounded braking bodies/or magic bindings in spells similar to the emblem spells), large bodies (this is more of a cause and effect thing, since larger dragons have larger body mass to contain magic. while a fae could be picked as a vessle, its likely to be a larger than averae fae).

Priests/priestesses
tequnically these are the highest ranking in the cult, as they basically function as leaders, and have the most power and influence over everyone int he cult, even the vessels (though their relasionthip will differ depending on the situation the vessels came to be) for example with abbadon, while Devaki tequnically serves him she is the one in charge and pull the strings.
They are also in charge of rituals and other such events the cult holds. They are the ones the imbue the vessels with power (they must be the same flight of the chosen vessel so they can channel the energy into the vessel). These rituals are done often

seer:
seers spend days on end in darkness to highten their focus and meditate. once they reach a high enough level they forcibly blind themsevles in order permanently shrowed themselves in darkness. The ritual is painful and done by the priesnt/preisentess. It leaves marks over their eyes so they often cover them with garbes. (without them their eyes are completly black, not white, and have cracks and wrinkles in their corners).
Seers jobs are to meditate to see the future. They predict future events, though their main focu s is the date and current status of the shade. They predict the day the shade will completly engulf the world so the cult can prepare. They also meditate to find dragons that can be used as vessels. They are not always accurate, chosen vessle may brake during rituals, seers that are responsible for these wasted resources run risk of being striped of their titles and banished from the cult. Or at the very least they loose respect and their predicutions hold less value in the eyes of the rest of the cult.

common traits: philosophers veil are the most common apparel for seers. but they are not required, other types of covers can be used.

sentinels:
while they are slightly higher in heirhacy than the average member. They hold no more influence or power than a normal member. They are just allowed slight leniency in circumstances that affect the safety of the vessel. In moments like these it's possible they may even be able to tell the priests what to do.
Sentinels have one and one purpose alone; to guard the vessel. they must put their lives on the line if need be. if a vessel is ever harmed or worse, killed. The sentinel in charge will be prosecuted. Most likley exiled, they frquently become to target of assassination attempts from the wrath of those who count on the vessel to carry them through the shade.

common traits: they are most commonly gaurdens that find their charge as the vessel, but it's not a requirment.

members:
officiated members are dragons that have gone through the ritual led by their priest/priestess. The ritual is done in a pool or black liquid that they fully envelop themselves in during a chant that stains their skin/feathers a permanent black. They do this to dedicate themselves completely to the shade.
members can have a variety of role, and whatever their job or purpose they alll share the same level of influence. they can be ambassadors, hunters or even gardeners. at this level they can function similar to a tquipical clan.

followers:
those who follow have no place in the cult themselves, and have no gone through the initiation ritual.they have have very little power

common traits: they often wear the colours that correspond to the flight of their vessel. ie. abbadon is of the light flight, so they wear gold.
