Scratch! The first time I encountered him was on one of those "pick your favourite from above" forum games, I fell in love instantly, screamed about him a lot, and decided I need to have a similar dragon someday. Then a couple of weeks later I found him on AH. I still can't believe my luck.

Pony. I had just bought that accent she's currently wearing and wanted a dragon to show it off, and bought her for a cheap price. My original plan was to keep her just for a few days or maybe a week, long enough for me to find a "better" dragon to wear the accent. And then she just... never left, somehow. Now she has lore, too, I think she's here to stay.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've gone through the list of my dragons' names and stopped to think "wait, who the heck is Arisia?" I have no idea why I keep forgetting this pretty girl, I feel kind of bad for her.

Whenever I want to feel better about the world, I look at Sunslammer. I love this boy and his soft colors.

I have a few like this, so it was a little hard to choose, but Cavan is probably the most noteworthy. I fell in love with him when he was my sister's dragon, and when she decided she didn't want him anymore, I snatched him right up. Now he's one of my all-time favs.

2. ... accidentally stayed
Enosora was never meant to be born, and I never expected to keep/like any of the hatchlings between the two dragons who were accidentally bred. And yet, here he is. Decent color/gene combo, and one of the outfits I'm most proud of in my whole lair. He goes strangely unnoticed by everyone else, though.

I sometimes forget I still have my Garrus fandragon, but here he is, in all his beautiful glory. Maybe someday I'll find a way to give him his eyepiece...

Kane is my goofy, huggable, kind-hearted, purple ball of floof. He gives hugs to everyone he meets, and his best friend is his hedgehog familiar. Other dragons are strangely comforted by his presence.

I have 3 dragons with current, but Ignacia is definitely the most notable. She's absolutely stunning, and she gets picked for the "steal a dragon" game threads a lot. I'm still not quite sure how she manages to make this particular gene combo work so well, but she does it marvelously.

1. "love at first sight"
He was a raffle prize. It was a raffle where you could win more than once, and I had a ton of tickets in so expected to win several times. Got drawn in the first round. And there were lots of great prizes: skin bundles, eggs... He was just an unleveled, non-g1 dragon. He probably wouldn't get chosen very quickly.

But... look at him. So pretty. What if he did get picked by someone who wasn't me?

So I chose him, never regretted it. He's still one of my favorite dragons :)

2. accidentally stayed
Went looking for a RTB male to nest with one of my girls early on after I'd joined. His colors are... okay, tert isn't great. He'd work as a placeholder til I found a coatl I liked better.

Then the hat happened (it's perfect on him!), and I had to scribble a bit of lore for that since I thought of it. Then I needed a trio to train for coli and didn't have many dergs to choose from at that point.
