'threads' of fate (and that sort of thing) have always been one of my favorite fantasy ideas!! so i'm probably going to try and get a red thread dragon after seeing this subspecies!
also, don't you think it'd be good to include contour for tertiary genes? it also resembles a sort of "thread" and it'll give the subspecies some variation c: if not, then i understand ~
edit: perhaps smoke as well?

i feel like smoke would definitely look good, especially with the darker threads. gives it more of an ominous or regal look, too, depending on which color it is. but it sure looks hecka cool like this:
