[i][center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=29481395] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/294814/29481395_350.png[/img] [/url] [b]hierro[/b] is a powerful and ancient dragon, recently awoken from a centuries-long period of hibernation. during this time, most of her original clan was scattered, either killed, lost, or so deep in slumber beneath the earth they may as well be dead. long ago, when the world was still young, it was hierro and her mate who originally carved out the structure my clan calls home. it is her magic that has kept its aging walls standing through current repairs, and her spines that have fiercely defended it since she first stood as ruler upon the cairn at its peak. her subspecies first emerged in the reedcleft ascent, but her heart is deeply rooted in stone. since discovering that she passed away during their long rest, hierro has worn her mate's skull both in memory of her lost love and to mimic the crown she once wore. her mate's brother is still alive, and has been helping her restore their home to its former glory. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=28462056] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/284621/28462056_350.png[/img] [/url] [b]maitreyi[/b] is a newcomer to the clan (also my most recently completed gene project!), so her lore is still a bit hazy, but she's got nothing if not ambition. and bloodlust, she's got plenty of that. she and her mate [b][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=36602697]leo[/url][/b] are trying to gain a following for their secret circle of sun-scholars, which is probably just a fancy name for their blood-cult that uses ritual sacrifice to try and trigger catastrophic solar flares. she's a nasty lady, and really just wants to watch the world burn, but in the meantime, she loves the creature comforts this life has to offer. her favorite things are wallowing in warm mud and the smell of searing flesh.[/center][/i]
