Her name means "light," "pity," or "god is my light." Which is fitting because she's a captain of the guard and her primary duties involve walking the surf, defending her clan's borders from all assailants and conquerors. She prefers a bow, as it allows her to retreat to deeper waters while still discouraging interlopers. I'm still working on getting the rest of his outfit put together but this preview will work just fine. I'm thinking about making him one of the clan Matriarch/Queen's advisors/a lesser noble, as well one of the main mages, whose duties primarily involve maintaining the barriers/spellwork that allow the clan to enjoy open-air atriums and water-less living quarters, even at the bottom of the ocean. Not sure if I'll make him vain and purposely glow his runes, or if it will just be an unconscious sign of power. He's one of the oldest dragons in the clan, and no one's really sure where he came from or what he did before, save the elders, who all hush and shoo away any curious dragons who might pester him about it. He's got a very jovial and welcoming personality, quietly glowing with encouragement and support for anyone he talks to, he just...prefers to stay in the banyan grove tucked into the heart of their territory. It's not because of his strange features, or because he dislikes others, he is just content among growing things. He's very fond of hatchlings. Still. Rumors tend to waft around the clan of how he was a warrior long ago, due to the armor he dons every day, without fail, and the bow he certainly doesn't need for hunting but that he keeps to paw at all times. No one knows what to make of his second set of wings, brown, feathered like a bird, and always tucked tightly into his normal, draconic pair. Or how he is never seen flying, even in the widest spaces the clan maintains for just such a purpose. No one knows what to make of his four extra horns, two curving around his ears and made of an unknown, vibrant green substance that certainly isn't natural, two sweeping back from his crown and branching like a tree. And certainly no one knows what to make of the mix of plant life that seems, for all intents and purposes, to be [i]growing[/i] from him, since it is still there even when he sheds his armor. They wonder and whisper at the deal he must have made with the Gladekeeper. Did he anger the gods? Is he cursed? Or is this a reward; being brought closer to his beloved plants for his service on the battlefield?
