Bluefire is the oldest dragon in my lair, older than my progens, and was one of my first level 25s. I've never found a gene combo for him I'm truly happy with, but I like him as a triple-basic:

Noctavia is Bluefire's mate, close to as old as he is, and also triple-basic, but who needs genes when you've got a really nice skin? She's worn Refraction since Rockbreaker's 2013. She's also still an active part of my Coli-grinding team for everything except Mireflying.

Anointed is... kind of special. When I bought him, he was basic/basic/circuit, and with his triple-Maroon coloration, the only part of the Circuit markings you could see were the ones on his head. I found this unendingly endearing, and while I've since given him Tiger and played with other gene setups, the mark of anointment on his head is staying.
