He has gone through a race change, name change and one scatterscroll. With new genes paint and piebald he will finally be himself. Her protective nature caused her to save Charros from a marauding pack of thieving dragons, which was, in essence, the start of the clan. The Fae followed her to repay his "debt" and never really left. Later, she found an Arcane egg that would hatch into her "child" Illyan, encountered the probably half-dead but strangely loyal Ezar, and commissioned Riacnid to help mend old armor and found the Ridgeback decided to "borrow" her to experiment on new alloys. Finally returning to the land of the Lightweaver, she looked around at her little gaggle of followers, settling down in the outskirts of the Hewn City as the last dregs of light faded from the western sky, pondering each dragon's unique set of skills and knowledge, each seeking their own Truth no matter their element, their goals, their past. She looked around the crumbling ruins, still filled with unknowns and yet still salvageable, and she found her Truth. Her Charge. For so long she had protected those going about their Truths, yet it never had fit in her mind before. She would protect those seeking Truth, collect their knowledge, preserve them both physically and through the written word, and, in the end, continue to enlighten all of dragonkind. As time went on, others joined her, some to simply share or grow their knowledge, others to take up her mantle and fight for the good of Sornieth. And thus the clan of the Harbinger was born. ... Now if only there were some way to change her tert, because carmine really doesn't fit in any way. Charros hatched high in the redwoods of the Sunbeam Ruins and quickly differentiated himself from his siblings by being even more curious about the world than your average Arcane dragon. Or so his parents claimed. The Fae learned to fly by accidentally tumbling out of their tree sap nest while trying to investigate the needles on a nearby branch. He still retains an almost painful need to know that caused him to get into quite a bit of trouble by poking his nose where it didn't belong. Indeed, it was this that caused him to eventually meet Jeverinth on the plains of Dragonhome. He only planned to ask a few questions about the Cairnstone Rest, not expecting the troupe to be grave robbers instead of sentinels. It was luck that his desperate cries to keep his beloved scrolls safe drew the attention of a wandering Guardian. The thieves scared off to seek easier targets, he all but pledged fealty to her for saving his life's work. As a fellow seeker of knowledge, the two continued on the Guardian's journey, with Charros recording everything he could. Her later announcement that she would be building a library of sorts to protect him, his scrolls, and all other seekers of knowledge nearly brought him to tears of joy had he not immediately began working on drafting plans to make this venture succeed and make sure he would never be wanting for space for all of the books and scrolls to come. He has since spent every waking moment as the head archivist, in charge of the actual library itself, scribbling away and this or that, organizing, reorganizing, recording, researching, and just generally staying very busy and very happy. Soon enough, he'll have Glimmer to help make him extra shiny beneath that skin of his. Apparently I had bad luck with the RNG Gods for Jeverinth's tertiary, because all the good luck went into generating this random XXY fellow.

I had exalted my random, and now I wished I hadn't, but this is my Progen, Opscur. I love him to pieces. I finally was able to get gems to buy a skydancer scroll and then put Vipera and Shimmer on him! His Tert had come out perfectly and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Opscur is quiet, not shy. Doesn't have a lot to say. He had given up his title as leader of the clan and lets another dragon lead. Opscur is part of the Dry Wind Clan Council, though, and gives his advice if asked. They're both kinda apathetic clanparents and don't see eye to eye, most dragons fall under Rodd's group or Fidelity's group, and despite or maybe because of their differences they have a relatively effective clan. It is so cool to see all these appareled dragons! I am so excited to get mine dressed up.
